Ready, get set, RESET!

Today was the beginning of an ultimate transition! It was the first time I committed myself to any sort of body cleanse. I figured that it was time for me to clean out my inner (physical) self after all the junk that I’ve been consuming for the 26 years.

For the next 21 days, I will be doing the Beachbody Ultimate Reset program which consists of strict meals in controlled portions. There are three phases in the program; Phase 1 (week 1) – you reclaim your body by cutting out dairy and red meat, and taking 4 supplements that Beachbody provides; Phase 2 (week 2) – you eat all vegetarian foods that will help release toxic substances from the digestive system, and by taking the provided detox supplements; and Phase 3 (week 3) – the final phase where you’ll restore your body by eating only vegetables and fruit, and by taking the revitalize supplements.

It definitely won’t be a walk in the park! I’m sure that there are going to be days when I’m tempted to nibble on a piece of chocolate, or crave a bag of chips. So to remind myself that I’ve committed to the Reset, Beachbody gives us bracelets so that we can stop ourselves from reaching for a snack. I put my bracelet on today!
