Brrr… I was FREEZING today! Granted, my part of the office is always really cold but I felt especially goosebumpy today… I had to wear two sweaters and put a blanket (literally) over my legs to keep warm. I’d like to think that I was cold because of the weight that I’ve been losing, but who knows, maybe someone cranked up the air conditioner extra high today.

I almost forgot to eat my lunch today. I’ve had a really busy day at work and accidentally worked right through my lunch hour. I only noticed that it was after noon when my body started making grumbling noises and craving for fuel. I only decided to eat my hearty miso soup and save the microgreen salad for later, but I ended the day without even touching my salad. It’s amazing how only a healthy bowl of soup can get me through the day and not want any more food. It seems like my stomach is definitely getting used to the healthy intake – I’m almost afraid to see how my body would react when I transition back to carbs and poultry! I’ll gradually ease back into it, but all in proportion, of course :)

I never thought I’d say this, but the highlight of the day was the tempeh! Surprising, right! I think I’m starting to acquire its unique taste and I’d like to explore with new marinades. Similar to the fennel bulb, I wouldn’t have known about tempeh if it weren’t for Reset. I think the tempeh recipe will be one of the pages that I’ll fold in my Reset book so that I can make it in the future ;)

Wow – day 19 is coming to an end, which means I’ll only have 2 more days go to!! I’m so ready to be done with this program, but a little nervous that I’ll gain all of my weight back.. Again, it’s all about self-control and proportions :)
