This entry is part 7 of 20 in the series Beachbody

For the first time in a really long time, I woke up feeling refreshed. And the best part was that it was still 6:30am when my body naturally woke itself up! Not even my cat was awake at that time! I took those deep breaths that I told myself I’d take and just lied in bed for a good few minutes until I felt like I was ready to start the day. Giving myself those extra 30mins made a difference into my day as I didn’t feel stressed about rushing to work. Beachbody recommends to “live a stress-free lifestyle for best [Reset] results” and I like to think that my 30mins contributed to my good day. But seriously, I think it is nearly impossible for any working adult to live a stress-free life, right? Easily said than done, Beachbody!

My lunch was very unsatisfying. I think it was the first meal since I started the program that I felt like I wasn’t enjoying my meal. I’m not a picky eater, but nibbling on those raw veggies, especially the red bell peppers, made me feel like a rabbit who had no choice but to eat the food that was given. The quinoa salad was a little bland, but I suppose I only have myself to blame for not making it well… On the flip side, I think all that healthy food made my stomach shrink a little because I somehow managed to stay full on my raw veggies without having a snack. I guess all that distilled water is keeping me full!

That’s cool that you get to have maple syrup in your breakfast. I think some veggies are better raw than others. Not such a big fan of raw bell pepper but raw cauliflower is good in hummus…

I don’t like that slight sweet in red bell peppers. I found it kind of nauseating… I don’t think I’m allowed to have cauliflower during the Reset program, but broccoli and hummus is OK as a snack.
