Goodbye for now seafood, meat and dairy products. As I start Phase 2, I’d have to rely on all veggies, fruit and grains to get me through the day. Today’s calorie intake was much lower compared to the last few days, and my body feels like it’s missing a key ingredient in my meals. Even though the meals still taste good, it feels unsatisfactory and I miss having protein products…
But on the flip side…I LOST 3 POUNDS!! I wasn’t expecting to lose much in Week 1 because my food portions were still relatively generous. My energy level has been incredible, which I think is even more important than shedding a few pounds. I feel very lively and attentive, and have been going to bed at reasonable hours and getting up early, feeling refreshed. If I’m already feeling like this at the end of Week 1, I’m looking forward to my final results at Day 21. It’s amazing how shifting my dietary plans can change so much
As someone who needs instant gratification, the Reset program is bearable because I’m seeing results. My mouth still waters when I see people eat food that’s not green and healthy. Mmmm, just thinking about a pepperoni pizza is making my tummy grumble… I also feel like my sense of smell has heightened. I’ve been noticing a lot of food smells that naturally makes me jerk up and look around to where it’s coming from. I guess there’s a little fat Asian man inside of me, and he’s hungry!
