How about a wedding with a gorgeous backdrop by the beach? Yes please! Claudia and Andy tied the knot at the stunning resort of Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas in July 2015. They couldn’t have chosen a better location; literally steps from the beach, two stunning pools, an incredible mountain back-drop, and lots of space to explore. It was every photographer’s dream!

The day went by so fast. We even had to tell ourselves to slow down and enjoy the moment. First things first, capture the details!
Claudia looked so beautiful and elegant in her low-back, V-shaped dress! Most brides find the getting ready part to be the most fun of the day before all the craziness. Claudia was all smiles throughout the whole process, she seemed calm and really enjoyed every moment of the pre-celebrations. A happy bride = beautiful bride!

Claudia and Andy decided to do a first look. We found this beautiful bridge in the center of the resort (which was fortunately quite empty) that made a perfect spot for the couple to lock their eyes for the first time. These moments are always filled with so much joy and emotion. Quite frankly, these are some of my favorite moments of the day, because of the groom’s authentic expressions – first, anticipation, then in awe, followed by immense joy & tears. His reactions sometimes make ME tear up!
After a few hugs and kisses, it was time for Claudia to walk down the incredibly long aisle and meet the man of her dreams. How can you NOT say “I do” with that gorgeous back drop?!
Obligatory family & friends beach shot! The beach was the perfect location to capture those family photos – I mean, with a killer back drop like that, it seemed pretty obvious. Before all the partying at the reception began, Claudia and Andy decided to spend a little bit of alone time as husband and wife by taking the stroll on the beach. What a romantic way to kick off their new adventure together.
The reception was held on the beach by the resort. It was so beautifully lit with lanterns hanging from palm tree to palm tree, and the moments before sundown made the reception glow in twilight.

Claudia and Andy were so fortunate to have so many beloved friends and relatives celebrate their big day. They were surrounded by love and congratulatory wishes. So many happy moments that I was fortunate to capture.
And now, a special moment during the mother-daughter & mother-son dance.
Once the sun finally set and guests had drinks in their hands, it was time to party! Dancing all around!
