Family: Colorado Bridge in Pasadena

I had the sweetest session with the [K] family at the iconic Colorado Bridge in Pasadena, right at golden hour. I absolutely love how the light hits the bridge as the sun starts to go down. The bridge lights up in the most beautiful glowing way, and we get some rays of sun beams coming through the arches. It’s quickly become one of my favorite places to photograph this season.

After we do the posed images, I let families bond with one another, and we end up capturing the most beautiful, authentic moments that usually slips by in a blink of an eye. I love when kids hugs their parents, and a beam of joy appear on their face. Gosh, I couldn’t get over how adorable these two boys were! At the end of our session, I always end the session with a few, sweet moments of mom and dad together. We have to honor the two that started this beautiful family 🙂

If you’ve been thinking about your next photo session and want a spot that’s both iconic and dreamy, this might be the perfect place. Let me know, I’d love to help you capture memories here!

xoxo,
Hiromi

WELCOME

I call myself a ‘people’ photographer, specializing in capturing the personalities of people through family, newborn and event photography. I’m originally German-Japanese and was raised embracing both cultures. I was raised in Japan and in many parts of Europe, until I finally settled in Los Angeles to call it my permanent home. My love for photography started at an early age. A fun hobby eventually turned in to a passion when I found joy in taking candid photos of my friends. Naturally, my love for photography turned in to a lifestyle and I was asked to photograph people’s milestones and celebrations. And so, my photography business was born in 2010.
