This extended family session at TreePeople in Los Angeles was such a joy to photograph. We captured two families coming together during golden hour, when the light at TreePeople is truly magical. It’s one of my absolute favorite locations—the way the sun filters through the trees creates a soft, warm glow that flatters everyone and adds a timeless, natural feel to the images. The setting provided the perfect backdrop for both large group portraits and more intimate family moments, all while feeling relaxed and organic.
In every family session, I make sure to capture beautifully posed family photos that are perfect for holiday cards and framed keepsakes. Just as important, though, are the fun, candid moments—the laughter, movement, and genuine interactions that make every family unique. Those are the images that tell the real story and become the memories families look back on fondly for years to come.
