Lacy Park in San Marino is one of those locations that looks beautiful at any time of day. For this family session, we met at 8:00am, when the morning light was soft and beautiful. The sunlight hits the park differently in the morning than it does during golden hour, but both are equally gorgeous in their own way. I especially love the way the light filters through the tall trees, creating beautiful pockets of light throughout the park.
And when the roses are in bloom, the rose garden is definitely one of my favorite spots to photograph. There is so much variety at Lacy Park, from the open green spaces to the beautiful trees and hidden little corners, which makes every session feel a little different. Whether you prefer a morning session or the warm glow of golden hour, Lacy Park is a beautiful backdrop for capturing your family!
