Family: Wills Rogers Memorial Park, Beverly Hills

Will Rogers Memorial Park in Beverly Hills has quickly become one of my favorite locations for family photography, especially during golden hour. As the sun begins to set, the light wraps around the palm trees and fills the park with the most beautiful golden glow. It feels calm, timeless, and effortlessly elegant. One of the things I love most about this park is how accessible it is: easy parking, flat grounds, and a compact layout that still offers a surprising variety of photo opportunities. It’s truly ideal for family members of all ages.

I recently photographed family [M] at this gorgeous location. I first photographed their family when baby S was still an infant, so getting to see how much he’s grown was incredibly special. This is one of the greatest joys of being a family photographer—growing alongside families, documenting their milestones, and capturing the subtle changes that happen over time.Watching little ones become more expressive, more curious, and more themselves with each session is such a privilege. Sessions like this are a reminder of why I love what I do: preserving fleeting moments in a way that feels natural, joyful, and true to each family.

If you’re dreaming of a relaxed, golden-hour family session with stunning light and an easy, family-friendly setting, Will Rogers Memorial Park is a beautiful choice. I’d love to photograph your next family session here—feel free to reach out to start planning 🤍

xoxo,
Hiromi

WELCOME

I call myself a ‘people’ photographer, specializing in capturing the personalities of people through family, newborn and event photography. I’m originally German-Japanese and was raised embracing both cultures. I was raised in Japan and in many parts of Europe, until I finally settled in Los Angeles to call it my permanent home. My love for photography started at an early age. A fun hobby eventually turned in to a passion when I found joy in taking candid photos of my friends. Naturally, my love for photography turned in to a lifestyle and I was asked to photograph people’s milestones and celebrations. And so, my photography business was born in 2010.
