In-home newborn: including siblings!

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a newborn session in a loving home in San Marino, CA. With two older sisters, ages 2 and 4, there was a delightful mix of loving chaos, which I absolutely adore capturing. The energy and spontaneity that the older siblings brought to the session created a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. To keep the little ones engaged, we started with family photos, ensuring their interest remained high before moving on to the newborn’s solo shots in the latter part of the session.

The session was filled with candid moments, epitomizing the essence of lifestyle photography. From the girls’ giggles to their gentle interactions with their new sibling, every frame told a heartfelt story. The genuine interactions and spontaneous joy of the family made the experience incredibly fun and rewarding. Capturing these authentic moments reminded me why I love photographing families and their unique bonds.

Such a delight photographing this energetic family. Thank you for having me!

Hiromi

WELCOME

I call myself a ‘people’ photographer, specializing in capturing the personalities of people through family, newborn and event photography. I’m originally German-Japanese and was raised embracing both cultures. I was raised in Japan and in many parts of Europe, until I finally settled in Los Angeles to call it my permanent home. My love for photography started at an early age. A fun hobby eventually turned in to a passion when I found joy in taking candid photos of my friends. Naturally, my love for photography turned in to a lifestyle and I was asked to photograph people’s milestones and celebrations. And so, my photography business was born in 2010.
