My dear friends Holly and Oscar are expecting their first son, Austin! I had the honor of photographing their Peter Rabbit-themed baby shower which took place at Whiskey Red’s in Marina Del Rey (my old neighborhood!) It was a gorgeous water-front patio with a designated space reserved for the event, wonderfully put together by Holly’s co-workers.
I love photographing baby showers. Everything is so… cute! Gift tables were beautifully decorated and one of her coworkers had even created a “cake” made out of diapers. I mean, how creative (and extremely useful) is that?!
Oscar and Holly are lucky to have so many wonderful, caring people in their lives who are just as excited as they are. They were surrounded by love and congratulatory wishes, and of course, by a lot of babies who I’m sure will be Austin’s little buddies soon!

Grandma-to-be was, of course, over the moon! Look at that smile!
A party isn’t a party without the cake… and what a gorgeous cake this was! Ele Makes Cakes created a stunning, Peter Rabbit piece that really was the center of the party!
After everyone a piece of the incredible cake, we all played a few games. Yay! Such as, guess the number of chocolate bars are in a jar…
…and the winner got to keep all the chocolates. He was overly excited…
And, guess how big Holly’s tummy is. She was so small – we all over-guessed!
There was so much love and laughter everywhere. It was such a happy event!
Save the best for last… presents! And boy, did they get a lot of presents – Holly and Oscar were surrounded by them! I love seeing little baby outfits, it’s so cute!!
We can’t wait to meet the little man! Thank you to the happy parents-to-be for having me capture this special day!
