During a morning photoshoot in Bailey Canyon, I was excited to capture the enduring happiness and love of a returning family. The familial bonds were prominently featured in each photograph, with genuine smiles and shared laughter in each shot. Despite the absence of photographing during golden hour, the morning light provided a fitting backdrop, allowing for the creation of beautiful and timeless images that authentically reflected the warmth and togetherness of this delightful family.
I always begin the session by capturing the loving bond between siblings. Kids are usually most excited when we begin the shoot, and they are willing to listen and follow direction much more efficiently 🙂
Bailey Canyon is perfect for a family session with small children & older generations because of the variety of backgrounds without a far walk. It’s got everything from green landscapes to interesting rocks, making it easy to snap various shots just steps away.
As I always say in every blog entry, I spend 5mins of each session capturing the love between the parents. There was once a time when parents were ‘not parents’, and I like to slightly reminisce on this chapter through my photos. Their giggles and loving look is authentic and true.
