Family: Bailey Canyon

As the sun descended over Bailey Canyon, the whole place turned into this dreamy, golden wonderland. It was that magical time photographers call golden hour, and it gave [Family C] this amazing soft, warm glow that made them look straight out of a fairytale. My style is very journalistic, which means, I approach every session with minimal posing, and I let the family flow at their own pace. We began the session with the family of three sitting on a picnic blanket, and I captured the authentic smiles and giggles in stills.

As the sun started to set, we got a beautiful soft glow over Bailey Canyon. It creates a very romantic ambiance, which is a great time to snap some photos of mom and dad together.

Bailey Canyon is also a great location for morning sessions, like this session with [Family E]. Let me know if you’d like to have your next family session at Bailey Canyon!

xoxo,
Hiromi

WELCOME

I call myself a ‘people’ photographer, specializing in capturing the personalities of people through family, newborn and event photography. I’m originally German-Japanese and was raised embracing both cultures. I was raised in Japan and in many parts of Europe, until I finally settled in Los Angeles to call it my permanent home. My love for photography started at an early age. A fun hobby eventually turned in to a passion when I found joy in taking candid photos of my friends. Naturally, my love for photography turned in to a lifestyle and I was asked to photograph people’s milestones and celebrations. And so, my photography business was born in 2010.
