About 45mins before the sun goes down for the day, we are blessed with a beautiful, golden light that makes our world glow. We call this, golden hour. Golden hour in photography is like nature’s spotlight before sunset, casting a warm, dreamy glow that makes everything look amazing. It’s that magical time when the lighting is just perfect, adding a beautiful golden touch to photos and making them extra special. We captured the {C} Family at TreePeople in Sherman Oaks during this magical hour, and we captured that time of day beautifully in our 1hr session at this beautiful location.
I like to start with just he children first, as they tend to get cranky and more tired later in the session. Then I bring in the parents and capture some posed and candid shots.
When grandparents are able to join our session, I make sure to carve out extra time to capture our generations together. Parents and grandparents love to see their little ones in generational photos 🙂
As much as we love our children, sometimes it’s nice just to spend time with your partner. I always take photos of just the parents together, capturing their love and candid laughter.
Lastly, we spend the last few minutes capturing the “mommy & me” and “daddy & me” images. A parent naturally bonding with their child is such a beautiful sight.
If you’re interested in having your next family session at TreePeople, please let me know and we’ll make it happen!
xoxo,
Hiromi
