Lifestyle blogger, Yana from La Vie du Papillon, wanted to do a Valentine’s Day-theme shoot, that didn’t involve your cliché roses and hearts. Merry Xmas everyone~! I hope that you’re all bundled up in your snuggle gear and staying warm! When I say “snuggle gear”, it doesn’t always have to be sweaters and pants – how about throwing on a big scarf and wearing some intricate lace? Fashion blogger Yana, from La Vie Du Papillon, modeled her tis-the-season look with a classy black skirt, collared lace, a cozy red scarf and finished the look with some knee-high black boots. Destination Wedding: Claudia + Andy
How about a wedding with a gorgeous backdrop by the beach? Yes please! Claudia and Andy tied the knot at the stunning resort of Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas in July 2015. They couldn’t have chosen a better location; literally steps from the beach, two stunning pools, an incredible mountain back-drop, and lots of space to explore. Event: POV.la Fall Reconnect
This past Saturday, my friend and I ventured down to a quiet, little town in SoCal called San Juan Capistrano to attend the bi-annual POV.la luncheon, where an inspiring group of women network to help each other grow professionally and personally. The intimate wine tasting event took place at the gorgeous Rancho Capistrano Winery, owned by POV.la member’s, Sylvia and her husband, whose dream it was to one day start a winery! I call myself a ‘people’ photographer, specializing in capturing the personalities of people through family, newborn and event photography. I’m originally German-Japanese and was raised embracing both cultures. I was raised in Japan and in many parts of Europe, until I finally settled in Los Angeles to call it my permanent home. My love for photography started at an early age. A fun hobby eventually turned in to a passion when I found joy in taking candid photos of my friends. Naturally, my love for photography turned in to a lifestyle and I was asked to photograph people’s milestones and celebrations. And so, my photography business was born in 2010.
